United Way Honoring Sean Corr for his commitment to Live United

Deer Park, NY (4/1/12) –United Way of Long Island recently announced it will be honoring Sean Corr with the Live United Pioneer Vision Award for showcasing the Live United Marketing Campaign that has been a huge success.

On May 9th , Sean will be presented with the Live United Pioneer Award at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, NY. Empire Racing will be presenting their “Live United” show car at the event.

“We are honoring Sean for all the exposure he and Empire Racing have prominently showcased on their car to bring more awareness to the United Way, especially to our Military Family Assistance Project and participation in many other programs that benefit our local communities,” stated Theresa Regante, President and CEO of United Way of Long Island.

Now that its 2012 that means it’s almost time for race season again. Time to start to dust off the race cars and get ready for another exciting race season! Empire Racing has been working on the Super speedway cars for a while now and we have even found that our backup car from last year beat our primary car from last year in the open ARCA test about a month ago. So for the 2012 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards Slick Mist 200 at Daytona International Speedway I am going to have a brand new car and even a new crew chief. Ben Leslie has come on board for this year. He has been making some changes that have really seem to make a tremendous difference in not only the cars but the team as well.
